Page content didn't migrate to Conversion Cats theme

Did you install the Conversion Cats theme on an existing WordPress site?  If so, then there is a quick update you need to make so that your old content on your pages gets properly moved over to our content tabs.

IMPORTANT:  If you have any Advanced Custom Fields plugins installed (go to Plugins to check if you do), then please deactivate and delete them before moving on to adding the function below.

In the WordPress admin, go to  Appearance > Editor > open the header.php file > add the following code to the bottom of header.php file:

<?php
$posts = get_posts(array('numberposts'=> -1,'post_type'=>'page'));
foreach ($posts as $the_post) {
	update_field('field_5729028c9438b', $the_post->post_content, $the_post->ID);
}
?>

Click   Update File

Visit the homepage of the site (this should run the update in the code you just added - it only needs to run once).

In the back-end, go to   Pages and click to edit any page > double-check that the Content tab has content

  • If not, then please send us a support ticket that includes  your Wordpress admin login info
  • If it was successful (i.e. the content is now in the Content tab on your pages), then you can remove the function you just added to the header.php file - go back to Appearance > Editor > open the header.php file > delete the code you added above > click Update File to save > that's it!
